Server Password:
Optional password to restrict access. Leave empty for public servers.
Admin Password:
Required for admin commands. Use a strong, unique password.
Player and Game Settings
Max Players:
Set based on your server's performance. Recommended: 64-128 for most servers.

Performance Settings
Max FPS:
Server frame rate limit. Recommended: 60-120 depending on server specs.
Server Max View Distance:
Maximum view distance in meters. Default: 1600m. Lower for better performance.
Network View Distance:
Network sync distance. Default: 500m. Affects network performance.
AI Limit:
Maximum AI entities. Set to 50-100 for better performance, -1 for unlimited.
Security Configuration
BattlEye Anti-Cheat
Enable BattlEye:
Recommended for public servers. May cause issues with some mods.
- • True: Enhanced cheat protection
- • False: Better mod compatibility
Disable Third Person:
Force first-person view for more realistic gameplay.
Password Security
- • Use strong, unique passwords for admin access
- • Avoid common words or predictable patterns
- • Include numbers, letters, and special characters
- • Don't share admin passwords publicly
- • Change passwords regularly
Game-Specific Settings

Advanced Configuration
Network Settings
Fine-tune network performance:
- Join Queue Max Size: Maximum players in connection queue (default: 50)
- Log FPS Interval: How often to log performance data (default: 600 seconds)
- Fast Validation: Speed up player validation process
Resource Management
Optimize server resource usage:
- Monitor CPU and RAM usage in the control panel
- Adjust view distances based on server performance
- Limit AI count for better performance
- Use scheduled restarts to clear memory
Testing Your Configuration
After making changes:
- Save your configuration
- Restart the server
- Monitor the console for errors
- Test connectivity from the game client
- Check server performance metrics
A properly configured server should start without errors, appear in the server browser, and allow players to connect smoothly with good performance.
Common Configuration Mistakes
- Too High View Distances: Can cause performance issues
- Weak Admin Passwords: Security vulnerability
- Incorrect Scenario IDs: Server won't start
- Unrealistic Player Limits: Performance problems
- Missing Server Name: Won't appear in browser
Backup Your Configuration
Always backup your working configuration:
- Go to Management → Backups
- Create a backup before making major changes
- Download important configuration files
- Document your settings for future reference
