Managing player bans is essential for maintaining a healthy Palworld server. This guide covers banning, kicking, and unbanning players.
Getting Player Information
First, you need to find the player's Steam ID.
/ShowPlayersLists all connected players with their Steam IDs
Example: Returns name and Steam64 ID
Tip
- Note down the Steam ID (17-digit number)
- You can only ban/kick players who are currently online using commands
Kicking Players
Remove a player temporarily - they can rejoin.
/KickPlayer {SteamID}Kick the player from the server
Example: /KickPlayer 76561198012345678
Tip
- Use kicks for warnings or minor issues
- The player can rejoin immediately after being kicked
Banning Players
Permanently remove a player from your server.
/BanPlayer {SteamID}Permanently ban the player

- The ban is stored in banlist.txt

Unbanning Players
There is no unban command - you must edit the file manually.
- 1Navigate to: Pal/Saved/SaveGames/banlist.txt
- 2Open the file in a text editor
- 3Find the Steam ID you want to unban
- 4Delete that line from the file
- 5Save the file
- 6Restart the server or wait for it to reload
